The Makers Community is one of the driving force of UBORA: during the Fablab Festival 2017 in Toulose, in the session organized by My Human Kits, Carmelo De Maria illustrated how it is possible to design safe and open medical devices.
The session was focused on activities of the various Makers communities in the healthcare field, with a particular focus on disabilities.
With the help of UBORA’s new friend, Marco Ciurcina, Carmelo’s speech was translated in French and in the French Sing language, to give to everyone the opportunity to understand our important message: open source can answer to several unmet medical needs.
