By | January 25, 2017

The Innovator Summer School organized by the African Biomedical Engineering Consortium has represented one of the pillars on which the UBORA project was conceived.

The fifth edition hosted by Cairo University, in Egypt, focused on “Big Data for Improved Healthcare Outcomes in Africa” was the right occasion for presenting the UBORA project to the African Biomedical Engineering Community.

Carmelo De Maria, one of the tutor of the school, illustrated the aims of the project, and invited the ABEC students to participate to the First Design Competition, centered on maternal health and reduction of child mortality.
